The Music MediaMix Market is a hobbyist gathering that meets twice a year in the Tokyo area. A more intimate event than the biannual Comic Market, which attracts visitors and vendors from all over Japan, M3 is devoted to amateurs and aspiring professionals who make music. The event is also attended by game composers supportive of the scene, namely the SuperSweep group, responsible for arrangements found on the Omega Five Sound Track album.
Some consider M3 a valuable way to engage with Japan's game music industry without having to weather the pressures of a competitive market. TMZ of Trichromatic went professional before switching his focus to design and publishing twelve years ago. He has seen the creation of his album "wired" as a method of exercising his skills and sharing his passion.
"Every one of the originals represented on the album is a great piece of music," the artist says of the source material chosen for Trichromatic's most recent release. "I tried to retain their essence while arranging from a different perspective so as to give the tracks a fresh, new personality. " The album invites listeners to come for the trance remixes of Persona 3 and Saga Frontier II, and stay for “wired,” an original composition.
For the IWADON compilation, TMZ has provided trance music track "Skyscraper (Airflow Mix)" adapted from Ninja Warriors. He has also designed the original art seen in the track thumbnail. As with several other electronic music tracks written by artists in the Tokyo area for IWADON, "Skyscraper" is an homage to the city's vibrant dance club scene.
More arrangements by Trichromatic can be viewed on YouTube, including "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (Snow Mix)" and a cross-fade demo for Touhou Arrange CD "ETHEREAL!". His original mixes "Synchronicity" and "wired" can be viewed as well. For software and hardware, the artist prefers Apple Logic Pro 9, an Access Virus TI synthesizer and YAMAHA MO8.

音系・メディアミックス同人即売会「M3」は東京近辺において年に２度開催される愛好家達の集まりである。ある人はM3は競争率の高い市場を気にせずに日本のゲーム音楽の業界とつながるいい機会になると言う。トリクロマティックのTMZは12年ほど前までは音楽の仕事もしていたが、その後出版やデザインに軸を移したので10年以上のブランクがあった。昔はハードウェアのシンセサイザーで音楽を作っていたが、今は DAWが主流なのではじめは多少とまどったという。今は仕事としてではなく趣味として音楽を楽しんでいるので、好きなゲーム音楽のアレンジもしてみることにしたのが「wired」を制作するに至った経緯だと語った。
IWADONコンピレーションにおいてTMZはニンジャウォーリアーズから Skyscraper をトランスリミックス(Airflow Mix）し参加。トランスミュージックは7〜10分程度の長さが通例だが、トランスミュージックの醍醐味を損なわず、且つできる限りコンパクトにまとまるようなアレンジを心掛けたと語る。前半はトランスミュージックの王道に則り原曲の印象的なフレーズ（Pianoの音色で奏でているフレーズ）を小出しにし、軽快なリズムを刻む（〜2分47秒）。中盤は一度Padフレーズで落ち着かせつつ、リスナーの気分を徐々に盛り上げていく（〜3分42秒）。そしてブレイクの後、一気にメロディアスな原曲のフレーズを活かしたサビへと突入。
彼はオリジナルアートも提供している。このアルバム上で聞ける他の東京近辺のアーティストによって作られた曲同様、週のいつでもライブのエレクトロミュージックが楽しめるという、この地域のミュージッククラブシーンの活気を証明するものでもある。トリクロマティックによるさらに多くのアレンジはユーチューブにおいて"Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (Snow Mix)”や クロス・フェードデモの『東方アレンジCD『ETHEREAL! - 東方霊妙楽 -』をみることができる。また彼のオリジナル曲の Synchronicityやwiredも見る事ができる。使用機材はロジックプロ９とアクセスVirus TI、そしてヤマハのMO8を使用。
